Warehouse Operator/FLT Driver

gap personnel have been supporting their client with FLT Drivers and Packers for a number of years

Due to internal reorganisation, we are now recruiting a Warehouse Operator/FLT Driver on a PERMANENT BASIS

 

Duties will include:

·         Assist with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock

·          Service Other Department requests including

·         Select, prepare & use packaging materials appropriately

·         Supplying Packaging Materials including the building of various Packaging types

·         Collect items from throughout the Warehouse, prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule

·          Perform warehouse inventory controls via scanner and/or through a computer

·         Performing stock counts and location checks including corrections and consolidation work to maintain Warehouse efficiency

·         Operate and handle equipment safely & effectively

·         Check the quality of all products moving in/out of business

·         Ability to load and unload goods using a Counterbalance FLT

 

 Skills

·         Experience of driving Counterbalance Trucks and manual handling 

·         Good numerical and analytical skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Proactivity and initiative

·         Organised, efficient and thrive in a fast-paced environment

·         Collaborative Working

·         Good communication skills

 

This will be working 4on, 4off

Salary will be £29700
