Packing Operatives
4on 4off (days/nights)
We are proud to be working alongside a longstanding client who is a leading food manufacturer located on the outskirts of Chester in their search for Packing Operatives to join them on a temp to perm basis. Due to increases in business, our client is looking for multiple operatives. The main attribute our client is looking for is a good attitude to work and a desire for career progression.
Performance Objectives
- · Operate and maintain machinery for various production processes.
- · Conduct sampling and testing of products to uphold quality standards.
- · Complete necessary documentation, including HACCP and production records.
- · Execute cleaning in place (CIP) procedures and maintain equipment hygiene.
- · Collaborate with our engineering team by reporting faults promptly and accurately.
- · Uphold a clean and hygiene production environment, adhering to our clean as you go policy.
- · Actively participate in identifying areas for improvement and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- · Work towards achieving department key performance indicators and objectives.
- · Adhere to company policies and procedures, always ensuring compliance.
Person Specification
- · Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred, although candidates from diverse backgrounds are welcome.
- · Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- · Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
- · Due to location, own transport is essential.
- · Ambitious and driven individual.
- · Willingness to learn and develop is KEY.
Working Hours
Operating on a 4-on/4-off (days & nights) shift pattern which are 12-hour shifts.
