Junior Website Developer

Up to £30,000    

Monday to Friday

Wrexham

Immediate start available

 

Our client based in the Wrexham area is currently looking for a Junior Web Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.  This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality user-facing applications and websites to tight deadlines.

 

Performance Objectives

 

·         Working on the maintenance and ongoing development of all relevant web applications and websites, ensuring excellent reliability, performance, and usability.

·         Collaborating on new websites, internal tools, and front-end applications from the ground up.

·         Translating designs and requirements into responsive, accessible, and performant UIs.

·         Working closely with senior developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

 

Person Specification

 

·         An enthusiastic, highly creative Junior Website Developer with a can-do attitude and a willingness to join a fast-paced marketing department and instantly hit the ground running.

·         Experience in React.js and Next.js

·         Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern browser APIs

·         Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3 (responsive design, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility) and TypeScript

·         Tailwind CSS or similar modern CSS frameworks

·         Experience with Node.js (front-end tooling, build processes, integrations)

·         Strapi or similar headless CMS platforms

·         Git for source control and collaborative development

·         Awareness of SQL and relational databases, including how front-end applications interact with data (no complex database development expected)
