Quality Engineer

Gap personnel are currently looking for 2 Quality Engineers for our well established client based in Oldbury with an immediate start !

 

Straight permanent placement directly with a company. 

 

Shift: Monday to Friday day shift only, hours to be discussed 

Salary: 40-50k depending of experience,

 

Key responsibilities:

Customer and Internal Concern resolution

System, process and product Auditing

Support NPI - APQP Quality requirements

Support internal training in Quality

Supporting audits

Lead investigations using 8D methodology

 

Accountabilities: 

·       Internal Audits to be completed to plan

·       Closure of 8D report to required timings

·       Ensure process adherence at all times

·       Ensure quality data and reports are completed to the required timings

·       Ensure associates are aware of the required Quality Standards

·       Ensure associates are adequately trained to perform their duties

 

Requirements:

-IATF16949 Internal Auditor as a minimum (Second Party desirable)

·       -First Tier Automotive supply experience (5 + years desirable)

·       -Core Tools (APQP - PPAP- FMEA -Control Plan)

·       -In depth knowledge and experience in using 8D methodology

·       -Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel – Word – Power Point)

·       -Experience in a Coatings manufacturing environment (desirable)

·       -Experience working with Automotive desirable
