Job Title: FLT C/B Driver  

Location: Chepstow, NP16

Pay Rate: £13.56 p/h

Contract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities available

gap personnel Gloucester, operating as an employment business are currently recruiting for 2 FLT Drivers in Chepstow, Monmouthshire.

Working as a FLT Driver in one of our modern warehouses in Chepstow you can expect a thorough and comprehensive induction and ongoing training, to ensure you gain the skills you need to be successful. The vast majority of our shifts are Monday to Friday, so we won’t ask you to come in on the weekend, unless you want to!

So what can you expect as a FLT Driver?

You will sign up through us and we will look after you every step of the way, before you step into the warehouse. You will be paid a minimum of £13.56, but the business offers shift allowance of £5 per day too.  Details will be fully explained to you at registration.

Main Duties as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

• Loading / Unloading lorries
• Stock replenishment into both yard and warehouse departments – when needed
• Transport of products throughout the yard as per supervisor request
• Working from pick & loading sheets and collecting picked items
• Check for any damages or defects
• Allocating stock put away as per batch sheet

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday 3pm – 12:00pm ( fixed rota)

Pay rates and shift allowances:

• £13.56 per hour + £5 per day shift allowance increasing to £14.23 upon completion of FLT training
