Warehouse Operative - Packing
Location: Basildon, Essex
Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Contract: Temporary role until January
About the Role
We are currently looking for reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Packing & Dispatch Operatives to join our team in Basildon on a temporary basis until January.
The role involves packing orders accurately, using computer-based dispatch software and reading and following written instructions to ensure orders are processed correctly and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who is organised, confident using a computer and able to work efficiently during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing products accurately and carefully.
- Using computer systems and dispatch software to process orders.
- Reading and following written instructions and procedures.
- Checking orders and ensuring information is entered correctly.
- Preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
- Working efficiently to meet daily targets.
Requirements
- Able to read, understand and follow written instructions.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using software.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Comfortable working night shifts.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous packing or dispatch experience is beneficial but not essential, provided you are willing to learn.
