Job Title: Bench Joiner

Location: Newport
Salary: £15.50 per hour (paid weekly)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

We are currently seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to join a well-established timber manufacturing company based in Newport. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in joinery who is looking to join a dedicated and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Cutting, shaping, and assembling timber components

• Operating woodworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently

• Ensuring high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

• Working independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bench joiner or in a similar joinery role

• Ability to read technical drawings and use hand/power tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Access to your own transport is essential due to the location

• Punctual, reliable, and able to work Monday to Friday full-time
