Vaccination Data Administrator (Band 2 Equivalent) 

Location 

Wrexham or Llanfairfechan (Office Based) 

Assignment Length 

1 September 2026 – 31 December 2026 

Working Hours 

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week) 

Salary 

Band 2 Equivalent Rate (PAYE) £12.71 - £12.93/hour

About the Role 

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented administrators to support the Integrated Vaccination Service with a targeted data entry project. Successful candidates will be responsible for accurately inputting vaccination records onto a national immunisation system and providing general administrative support to the team. Full training will be provided. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Accurately input vaccination data onto the national immunisation system. 

  • Process information from both paper and electronic consent forms. 

  • Maintain high levels of accuracy when handling large volumes of data. 

  • Ensure data is entered in a timely and efficient manner. 

  • Support the wider team with general administrative duties. 

  • Follow data protection and confidentiality procedures at all times. 

  • Assist with the organisation and management of vaccination records. 

  • Identify and escalate discrepancies or incomplete information where appropriate. 

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and designated team contacts. 

Person Specification 

Essential 

  • Strong data entry and keyboard skills. 

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Computer literate with experience using IT systems. 

  • Ability to work efficiently with large volumes of information. 

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn. 

  • Strong communication and organisational skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Desirable 

  • Previous NHS or healthcare administration experience. 

  • Experience working with databases or electronic records systems. 

  • Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality requirements. 

Training & Support 

  • Full training on the vaccination recording system will be provided.
