Production Line Leader
Location: Westbury, Wiltshire
Working hours: For Sept - Mid November the role will be Monday - Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm, 60 min break for Lunch (30 mins paid and 30 mins unpaid). Mid November to end of December working the 12 hour shifts. 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am.
Pay Rate: Starting from £15 with overtime being paid at 1.5x after 37.75 hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract by the end of the year, but for the right candidate permanent opportunities could be available.
Production Line Leader
gap personnel are currently recruiting for a Line Leader for our client based in Westbury.
You’ll play a key role in leading you production line, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency targets are achieved. This is a hands-on role where you will be motivating your team, solving problems quickly, and making sure operations run smoothly during both day and night shifts.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and motivate a production team to meet daily targets
- Maintain high hygiene, safety and quality standards
- Organise line set-up, changeovers and resolve any production issues
- Communicate efficiently with management and other departments
- Support staff training and development
- Adapt to seasonal shift changes, including night work
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within manufacturing or production
- Strong communication in a written and spoken English
- The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
- A positive “can -do” attitude and team-focused approach
- Flexibility to work night shift when required
- Availability to work 12 hours shift when required
