Business Analyst
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:30pm
Are you a data-driven problem solver with strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets?
We are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a growing Head Office team in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Python and SQL skills who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
The Role
You will be responsible for analysing data, developing models and providing insights that support business decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining data models
- Analysing large and varied datasets to identify trends and opportunities
- Conducting statistical analysis and investigations
- Producing reports and insights for management teams
- Supporting business decisions through data-driven recommendations
- Identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous development
- Presenting findings clearly to stakeholders across the business
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience using Python and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with large datasets
- The ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Good Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail
