<div class="description">What are the working hours?
The normal working week is 37.5 paid hours.
What breaks will I get?
You will receive a 30-minute paid lunch break plus two 15-minute unpaid breaks during your shift.
Is overtime available?
Yes! Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates:
1.3x after 37.5 hours
1.5x for Saturdays
2x for Sundays and bank holidays
What PPE do I need to wear?
Hi-vis, safety shoes and safety goggles must be worn on site.
Don't worry about the hi-vis or safety goggles — these are provided for you.
What type of contract is available?
The roles are offered on a temporary ongoing basis. However, exceptional candidates may have the opportunity to be offered a permanent contract.</div>

Location: Caerphilly&nbsp;&nbsp; Pay Rate: &pound;13.50 - &pound;16.87 per hour Shifts: 5 days per week 1:30pm - 10:00pm We are currently recruiting a&nbsp;DAF Plant Operator&nbsp;to join a busy production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for ongoing work with a competitive rate of pay. Key Accountabilities<ul>
<li>Maintain, operate and monitor the treatment facility</li><li>Complete daily site meter readings</li><li>Create preventative maintenance schedules</li><li>Inspect and perform daily checks on plant performance to ensure effective operations and maintain records, including start-up, shut down and daily monitoring</li><li>Ensure chemicals are stored safely in line with environmental policy</li><li>Complete planned maintenance activities in the water plant during weekend quieter periods</li><li>Liaise with site engineering as required during breakdowns and troubleshooting.</li><li>Work in conformance to HSE regulations.</li><li>Any other duties as required by management within the competency of the post holder.</li></ul>
