About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced counterbalace Forklift Driver to join a busy team in a cold store environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within the temperature-controlled facility. This is a temporary ongoing role with a potential to go permanent in the longer term. This is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern which will include weekends but you will work 8am-5pm Monday to Friday for the first 2 weeks for site familiarisation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and move stock within the cold store.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet operational targets.
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance Forklift license (RTITB or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a cold store or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -18°C.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
