Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary Ongoing

gap personnel are currently recruiting for the role of Packing Operative for one of the UK’s leading producers of POS & POP solutions for the retail sector and major brands, based in Chippenham. They produce creative, innovative and effective solutions for some of the UK’s best-known brands.

As a Packing Operative, you will work in a busy packing and gluing department, where you will be responsible for packing products, making boxes, carrying out quality checks, and supporting production operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Packing finished products to required standards
• Making boxes and preparing packaging materials
• Completing tasks within the packing and gluing department
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Supporting production targets and daily workloads
• Following work orders and client-specific instructions
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Full training provided

Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a similar production or packing role is preferred
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am – 2:00pm

Overtime:
Depending on business volumes, overtime may be available on Saturdays and Sundays, paid at £12.71 per hour.
