Industrial Cleaner

 

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner to join a busy and well-established site based in Blackburn.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for long-term employment with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.

Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience within an industrial environment.

Location: Blackburn
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
Friday: 08:00 – 15:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning industrial machinery and equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Sweeping, mopping and general housekeeping duties
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
• Disposal of waste and recycling materials
• Supporting the wider production team when required

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous industrial cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and capable of manual duties
