Job Title: Office Administrator / Administrative Assistant
Location: Gloucester, GL1
Pay Rate: £12.98 – £13.45 per hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities available
Gap Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our established, family-owned client for an Office Administrator to join their friendly and growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone organised, reliable, and eager to develop their administrative skills within a supportive business environment. Previous office or administrative experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Our client is looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
The Role:

Providing general administrative support to the office and wider team

Processing paperwork, data entry, and maintaining accurate records

Handling emails, phone calls, and general enquiries

Filing, scanning, and organising documentation

Assisting with scheduling, orders, and internal communications
-
Welcoming and assisting customers or visitors who arrive at the office

Supporting other departments with administrative tasks when required
-
Maintaining a tidy and organised office environment
About You:
-
Previous administrative or office experience is beneficial but not essential
-
Confident using basic computer systems and Microsoft Office
-
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
-
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Comfortable interacting with customers or visitors when required
-
Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
-
A positive team player with a proactive approach to work
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm
Holiday Entitlement:
20 days per annum (increasing to 22 days after 2 years’ service), plus bank holidays.
Please note: 4 days of annual leave must be taken during the Christmas/New Year shutdown.
