Dispatch Warehouse Operative | Paignton | £13.00 per hour
gap personnel are recruiting a Dispatch WarehouseOperative for a crab processing factory in Paignton. This is a hands-on, physical role working in and around the factory, getting finished products ready for dispatch.
Hours and pay
- Shift – 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Pay – £13.00 per hour
What you’ll be doing
- Moving boxed products from production to the dispatch area
- Picking and checking orders before they go out
- Stacking boxes on pallets and preparing orders for collection
- Keeping the warehouse and dispatch areas tidy and clear
- Following food safety and manual handling procedures
About you
You’ll need to be comfortable spending much of the shift on your feet and regularly lifting, carrying and moving boxes. You’ll work at a steady pace and pay attention to detail when checking orders.
You’ll be working in and around an active crab processing factory, so you’ll need to be comfortable with the smell of seafood on site.
