Forklift Driver (Counterbalance)

Site Location: Crewkerne

Contract: Temporary (14th August – 2nd September)

Shift Pattern: 12-hour 4 on 4 off, 6:00am to 6:00pm

Pay Rate: £13.53 - £18.00 per hour

Gap Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join the Dairy team at Yeo Valley in Crewkerne on a temporary 3-week assignment, running from 14th August to 2nd September.

As a Forklift Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping production moving by safely transporting products and materials across the site while supporting the day-to-day operation of the department.

Main duties and responsibilities:

•             Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently

•             Moving stock, raw materials and finished goods around site

•             Loading and unloading vehicles

•             Supplying production lines with materials as required

•             Carrying out routine safety checks on the forklift

•             Supporting the warehouse and production teams where needed

•             Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What we are looking for:

•             A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)

•             Previous Counterbalance Forklift driving experience

•             Experience working within a warehouse, manufacturing or food production environment is desirable

•             Good communication skills

•             Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment

•             Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
