gap personnel are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to join our client, a leading Distribution and Logistics company based in Cullompton. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term, ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading lorries

• Packing and preparing pallets for delivery
• Ensuring products are accurately packed and labelled to customer specifications and high standards
• Working in a physically demanding role, involving standing for long periods
• Adhering to all site Health & Safety policies

About You:

• Must hold a current Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience (desirable)
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Manual handling awareness
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Able to work with integrity and confidentiality
• Committed to maintaining safe working practices

Working Hours & Pay:

This is a night shift position, working Monday to Friday, 11:30pm to 9:00am, offering a stable and consistent schedule for those looking for overnight work.

Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour, paid weekly. During the 1st two weeks the pay rate will be £15.00ph.

Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
