gap personnel are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to join a busy and expanding warehouse operation based at Greendale Business Park, Exeter.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance forklift trucks to load and unload goods into racking and bulk storage areas.
• Assisting with unloading shipping containers, including ramp and loose-loaded containers.
• Recording pallet movements accurately using handheld scanners and warehouse paperwork.
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
• Liaising with the Storage Supervisor regarding deliveries and collections.
• Supporting stock control and inventory activities.
• Working independently to prioritise and complete daily tasks.
• Undertaking additional warehouse duties as required to support the wider operation.

What We're Looking For

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
• Pivot Steer experience is advantageous, although full training will be provided.
• Previous experience within a racked and bulk storage warehouse environment is desirable.
• Physically fit and comfortable undertaking a manual, active role.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Flexible, reliable and willing to support a variety of warehouse tasks.

Hours & Pay:

Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm
