At Howmet Aerospace, we manufacture components that power the most advanced aircraft and energy systems in the world. In our Alloy Department, strength isn’t just in the materials — it’s in our people.
We’re seeking a Manufacturing Operator who’s hands-on, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. If you're someone who takes pride in quality work and being part of a skilled team that gets the job done right — this role is for you.
⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate alloy melting and casting machinery to exacting standards.
- Weigh and mix metallic elements with care and precision to produce proprietary alloys.
- Maintain detailed records for batch traceability and alloy compositions.
- Support and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to keep performance high.
- Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) protocols — especially around high heat and heavy equipment.
- Help perform basic preventative maintenance on casting equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts — smarter, safer, faster production.
What You Bring to the Team
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a sharp eye for detail.
- Good physical fitness and stamina — you’ll be lifting, moving, and working on your feet.
- A hands-on mindset with a team-first attitude.
- Ability to stay focused, follow instructions, and work with care in an industrial setting.
- Willingness to wear full PPE and work in high-temperature environments.
- Manufacturing experience is a bonus — but not essential. We’ll train you.
What’s In It for You
- A stable, full-time role where your reliability and physical skills make a real impact.
- The chance to learn specialised industrial processes in alloy production.
- Join a team that values precision, safety, and teamwork above all.
- Competitive pay, steady shifts, and long-term career potential in advanced manufacturing.
- Be part of something bigger — your work contributes to high-performance aerospace components trusted worldwide.
