Job description
Hygiene Operative | Paignton | £13.00 per hour
gap personnel are recruiting a Hygiene Operative for our client, a seafood and crab processing factory in Paignton. This is a hands-on, fairly physical role cleaning production areas and machinery, as well as collecting and washing trays.
Hours and pay
- Shift – 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Pay – £13.00 per hour
What you’ll be doing
- Cleaning production floors, work surfaces and surrounding areas
- Cleaning production machinery and equipment in line with site procedures
- Collecting used trays, washing them and returning them ready for reuse
- Following the cleaning schedule and using cleaning products safely
About you
You’ll be reliable, thorough and comfortable being on your feet for much of the shift. The role involves lifting and moving trays, so you’ll need to be comfortable with physical work and able to follow manual handling procedures.
You’ll be working in an active crab processing factory, so you’ll need to be comfortable with the smell of seafood on site.
