Job Title: Parcel Sorters
Location: Hardwick, Gloucester
Pay Rate:
Afternoon £12.71 p/h
Night shift £ 12.71 p/h after 12 weeks raises to £15.01
Contract: Temporary to permanent, Temporary
Gap personnel is looking for part time or full time, reliable and hardworking Parcel Sorters to join our clients busy warehouse team. The role involves ensuring parcels are sorted, scanned, loaded, and unloaded efficiently to support the smooth operation of the delivery network. Duties are carried out in a fast-paced warehouse environment and require a strong focus on accuracy, productivity, and health and safety.

Working hours:
- Evening shift: 12:00pm till 20:30pm or varies other start time could be like 13:30pm-22:00pm
- Night shift: 00:00am (midnight) till 08:30am
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting parcels into the correct delivery locations and postcodes.
- Unloading and loading parcels from trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles.
- Scanning parcels using handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
- Moving parcels safely throughout the warehouse.
- Ensuring parcels are handled carefully and accurately.
- Working to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
- Working effectively as part of a team
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to lift and move parcels, including heavier items.
- Flexible approach to shift patterns, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.
Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding role involving standing, bending, lifting, and manual handling.
- Full-time, part-time, day, evening, and night shifts may be available.
- Warehouse-based environment.
