Vacancy: Warehouse Operative – Quality Control (QC)

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 07:00 – 16:15 (including a 30-minute paid lunch)
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a busy Quality Control (QC) team. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure products meet the highest quality standards.

These may include, but are not limited to, carrying out 100% quality checks on new and existing item lines received from suppliers, assessing product quality to fulfil customer orders, replacing components within larger item batches, and supporting the Fluid Fill operation by picking and assembling fluid-filled rails and radiators to order.

Please note this role involves heavy lifting !

Key Skills & Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• A thorough and methodical approach to work
• Ability to carry out heavy lifting (this role is physically demanding)

Role Overview – Duties will include:

• Carrying out 100% quality checks on new and existing products arriving from suppliers
• Inspecting stock items reported with potential manufacturing faults
• Assessing product quality to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly
• Assisting with the Fluid Fill operation, including picking and assembling fluid-filled rails and radiators

This role requires a keen eye for detail, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
