Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 06:30am - 14:30pm

 

About the Company:

gap personnel is proud to be working with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of frozen fruit products, based in Ledbury.

The role is for temporary annual leave cover, which will last from 26th June - 10th July.

 

The main duties for the role would include:

Canteen Area

• Wiping and sanitising tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces
• Cleaning kitchen worktops and food preparation areas
• Emptying bins and maintaining bin areas
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning microwaves, fridges, kettles (inside and out)
• Checking for and removing out-of-date food
• Cleaning sinks, taps, and splashbacks
• Restocking consumables (soap, paper towels, sanitiser)
• Cleaning vending/coffee machines (external surfaces)
• Spot cleaning walls, doors, and handles

Boot Room / Changing Areas

• Sweeping and mopping floors, including under benches and lockers
• Wiping down benches, lockers, and storage units
• Emptying bins and managing waste
• Cleaning and sanitising high-touch areas
• Removing debris (e.g. mud, food waste, PPE remnants)
• Cleaning floor mats and checking drainage areas
• Restocking PPE stations where required

Toilets

• Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, and cubicles
• Replenishing soap, toilet roll, and paper towels
• Emptying bins
• Cleaning mirrors and fittings
• Mopping floors

General Duties

• Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues
• Ensuring cleaning chemicals are stored safely and correctly labelled
• Following cleaning schedules and completing sign-off sheets
• Adhering to site hygiene and food safety standards

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous cleaning experience

Basic Hours & Pay Rate:

Monday to Friday 06:30am - 2:30pm

• £13 per hour basic rate, please note there will be 30 mins unpaid break.
