TIG Welder

Pay Rate: £16.00 - £20.00

Contract: Temp to Perm

Shift: Monday to Friday - 07:45 - 16:15

Gap personnel Gloucester are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder for a business who has seen huge periods of existing growth.

Due to natural grow, they are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking TIG Welder to work within their busy manufacturing facility in Tewkesbury.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT TIG WELDING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL. 

A mandatory PAT test will be required before starting on the assignment.

Main Duties as a TIG Welder:

• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
• Set up and operate welding equipment
• Inspect and ensure weld quality to required standards
• Maintain tools and follow health & safety procedures
• Assist with general fabrication tasks as needed

Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday - 07:45 - 16:15
