About the Role:

gap personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional looking for consistent work within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities to ensure a safe and well-maintained workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work
• Complete basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and decorating tasks
• Repair fixtures, fittings, doors, and minor building defects
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Support site teams with ad-hoc maintenance duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Handyman or Maintenance role
• Good practical skills across multiple trades
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable and hardworking attitude

Desirable:

• Relevant trade qualifications
• Experience within commercial, industrial, or warehouse environments
• Full UK Driving Licence
