Please report to the Gatehouse upon arrival.
4. What is the dress code?

Job Role: Senior Machine Operator (Silo Tank Experience)Location: Caerphilly Shifts: Monday to Friday &ndash; Day &amp; Afternoon Shifts Pay Rate: &pound;13.50 &ndash; &pound;27.00 per hourAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced Senior Machine Operator to join our processing team in Caerphilly. This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining silo tanks, pasteurisation, and cream processing systems, ensuring all production runs smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, proven experience in a dairy or liquid processing environment, and a proactive approach to quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>Operate and oversee silo tank systems and related processing machinery.</li><li>Safely receive cream from tankers and complete tanker receipt documentation.</li><li>Test cream prior to offloading using the SG stock control system.</li><li>Manage pasteurisation and processing operations in line with SOPs and training.</li><li>Monitor and maintain silo temperatures and equipment performance.</li><li>Carry out CIP (clean-in-place) cleaning of silos and tankers before and after use.</li><li>Lead by example in maintaining safety, hygiene, and quality standards.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with Critical Control Points (CCPs) and other regulatory standards.</li><li>Accurately complete all required production and quality records.</li><li>Support and mentor junior operators as required.</li><li>Report and help resolve mechanical or process issues promptly.</li></ul>
