Machine Operator

Pay: £13.41 per hour (on going temporary position)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:45am–4:45pm; Friday, 7:45am–12:45pm

We are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join an established manufacturer producing high-quality components for the aerospace and defence industries.

This is a hands-on production role within the investment casting process. You will operate specialist equipment to create precise patterns that will eventually be transformed into finished metal components.

Key responsibilities

• Setting up and operating wax injection and moulding machines
• Producing accurate wax patterns to the required specifications
• Inspecting finished patterns for defects, bubbles and deformation
• Carefully assembling and handling delicate wax components
• Monitoring wax temperatures and machine settings
• Completing basic quality and production documentation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Following strict quality, safety and manufacturing procedures

About you

Previous manufacturing, machine-operating or quality-inspection experience would be beneficial, although full training can be provided. Most importantly, you will need:
