Night Security Operations Centre Operative
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 12-hour night shifts, 18:45pm - 06:45am on a 4-on, 4-off rota

We are recruiting for a Night Security Operations Centre Operative to join a busy Security Operations Centre, supporting the monitoring and protection of multiple sites across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can make confident decisions, and is comfortable monitoring multiple systems while maintaining accurate records.
The Role
Key duties include:
- Monitoring CCTV systems and identifying potential security concerns
- Responding to alarms, alerts and incidents in line with procedures
- Investigating and escalating incidents where required
- Liaising with sites, management teams and external agencies
- Maintaining accurate incident logs and reporting
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Security Operations Centre
- Handling confidential information professionally and securely
- Following established processes and adapting to new systems and procedures
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- The ability to work independently and use initiative
- A professional and confidential approach to work
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating 4-on, 4-off pattern
