Job Role: Pasteurisation Operative
Location: Caerphilly
Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day, Afternoon.

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £27 per hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Pasteurisation Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe handling, pasteurisation, and processing of cream, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to working safely in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely receive cream from tankers and collate tanker receipts.
  • Test cream prior to offloading using the SG stock control system.
  • Pasteurise cream in accordance with training and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Minimise waste and maximise efficiency at all times.
  • Wash tankers and silos before and after use, following cleaning procedures.
  • Monitor and manage silo temperatures.
  • Ensure adherence to Critical Control Points (CCPs) at all times.
  • Report issues promptly to senior personnel.
  • Complete all records and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Undertake any training as required.
  • Cover for colleagues during holidays or sick days as needed.
  • Perform other factory duties as required.

Essential Competencies & Skills:

  • Resilient, proactive, and committed to achieving targets.
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Customer-focused mindset
