Job description
Packer – Merthyr
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join the packing team at a well-established meat processing site in Merthyr. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a busy production environment, ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Overtime: Available
Pay: £12.40 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing meat products to specification and quality standards
- Weighing, labelling, and sealing products accurately
- Ensuring correct product presentation and hygiene standards
- Working quickly and efficiently to meet daily targets
- Maintaining cleanliness in your work area and following all health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a food production or packing role is helpful but not essential
- Ability to work in a chilled environment
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
