Experienced Production Operative – Barnstaple

We’re recruiting an experienced Production Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing facility in Barnstaple.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who already has experience working within a production, manufacturing or factory environment. You’ll be joining a supportive team where quality, safety and reliability are genuinely valued.

The role

• Operating production machinery and equipment
• Following production schedules and work instructions
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Preparing, handling and packing finished products
• Completing relevant production paperwork accurately
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
• Reporting faults, defects or production issues promptly
• Working as part of the wider production team to meet daily targets
• Following all health and safety and company procedures

What we’re looking for

• Previous production, manufacturing or factory experience
• Experience operating machinery would be beneficial
• A good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable and punctual attitude
• A positive, hands-on approach to work
