Production Operative

Gap personnel are recruiting multiple Production Operatives for our clients Food production facility based in Fakenham, NR21

As a Production Operative, you will help with the production and packing of food products, making sure they are produced safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.

 

Role: Production Operative 

Pay rate: Days £12.86ph / Nights £13.85ph

Hours: Days 06:00-18:00 / Nights 18:00-06:00

Shifts: 4 on / 4 off, covers 7 days a week

Location: Fakenhnam

Type: Temp, ongoing work available

 Duties:

• Assist with making, packing, stacking, and palletising food products on the production line.
• Work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment to meet daily output targets.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across work areas and machinery.
• Follow established procedures and specifications to ensure products meet required standards.
• Assist with the preparation of finished goods, including labelling and organising products ready for shipment.

Experience/Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy production or manufacturing environment is helpful but not essential.
• A basic knowledge of food safety and health and safety practices would be an advantage.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to pay close attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
