Qualified Painter & Decorator

Location: Alps Depot, Wenvoe, Cardiff, CF5 6AA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time (Temporary)

We are currently recruiting, on behalf of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, for a fully qualified Painter & Decorator to join a well-established maintenance team based at the Alps Depot in Wenvoe, Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of maintenance and decorating projects across the Vale of Glamorgan, carrying out both internal and external painting to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating work.
• Complete work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Work collaboratively as part of an established and professional team.
• Provide a courteous and respectful service when working in occupied properties, recognising that maintenance work can be disruptive for tenants.
• Represent the team professionally while delivering excellent customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified Painter & Decorator.
• Proven experience in both internal and external painting.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to producing quality workmanship.

Desirable

• Good knowledge of the Vale of Glamorgan area.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, based from the Alps Depot, Wenvoe, Cardiff, CF5 6AA.
