Job description
We are seeking an experienced electrician to join the NHS. This is a key role within the trust to manage PPM as well as repairs.
We have roles across Gloucester and Cheltenham depending on your location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for calibration and fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment.
- Responsible for undertaking condition surveys, evaluating inspection reports and maintenance repairs, improvement and capital work across the Trust as directed by management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.
- Providing an emergency out of hours service, working a rotating shift pattern covering 365 days a year subject to appropriate negotiations.
- Required to act within the constraints of national, local and Trust-wide policies, protocols and best practice guidance and be guided by these but will need to establish the way in which these should be interpreted.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Completion of an electrical engineering apprenticeship or experience within the role.
- 17th or 18th edition
- Driving license
You will be on a temp to perm basis via Gap personnel. Once permanent with the trust you are entitled to the NHS pension and holiday allowance of 35 days including bank holidays.
