Job description
Our client is the global market and technology leader in acoustic and thermal management solutions for vehicles and a partner for light vehicle manufacturers around the world. The Company develops and produces multifunctional, lightweight components for optimum noise and heat protection. The innovative products and technologies make vehicles quieter, safer and lighter.
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative for 2 weeks starting Monday 9th June
Shift patten: Rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm 10pm Mon-Fri
Payrate : £13.13 per hour
(Machine Operative experience - good to have)
- Working on the end of the line taking material off the end of the machine.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves
- Receive deliveries of goods and supplies.
- Check for damaged or missing items.
- Store goods.
- Move stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck.
- Pack orders.
- Load, and sometimes deliver, goods.
- Keep records of stock.
- Keep paperwork up to date.
To be successful candidate you need to :
- Must have worked in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Be able to travel to Hecmondwike
- Be able to communicate well (good writing & speaking skills)
