<div class="description">What are the working hours?
The normal working week is 37.5 paid hours.
What breaks will I get?
You will receive a 30-minute paid lunch break plus two 15-minute unpaid breaks during your shift.
Is overtime available?
Yes! Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates:
1.3x after 37.5 hours
1.5x for Saturdays
2x for Sundays and bank holidays
What PPE do I need to wear?
Hi-vis, safety shoes and safety goggles must be worn on site.
Don't worry about the hi-vis or safety goggles — these are provided for you.
What type of contract is available?
The roles are offered on a temporary ongoing basis. However, exceptional candidates may have the opportunity to be offered a permanent contract.</div>

Timber Machinist / Sawmill OperativeSouth Petherton, Somerset | Permanent | &pound;13.85&ndash;&pound;14.50 per hourIf you enjoy practical work and take pride in getting the details right, this could be a great opportunity to build your career in timber production.We&rsquo;re supporting an established business in South Petherton with the recruitment of a Timber Machinist to join its sawmill team. You&rsquo;ll help turn customer orders into accurately cut and finished timber, working with a range of machinery including rip saws, bandsaws and moulders.What you&rsquo;ll be doing<ul>
