Saw Operator

Job Title: Sawyer / Carpenter
Location: Ammanford
Salary: £12.21 – £13.50 per hour (after successful completion of probation)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:15 (40 hours per week) + optional overtime (up to 2 hours per day)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview:
We are recruiting for a Sawyer to join a growing production team based in Ammanford, working with a well-known and respected client. Due to increasing demand, they have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Operating cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
• Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials to specification.
• Working with GRP composite products (experience beneficial but not essential).
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Supporting the production team with general carpentry and manufacturing tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating cutting machinery.
• Carpentry or sawyer experience highly desirable.
• Knowledge or experience with GRP composites is an advantage, but not essential (full training provided).
• Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Reliable and committed to consistent, high-quality work.
