Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Swindon, SN3

Pay Rate: £14.23 p/h

Working Hours: Fixed shift, not rotational

Shift : Monday to Thursday  14:00– 22:30, 14:00- 20:00 Friday

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Gap personnel are proud to be working together with a largest global manufacturer of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion batteries based in Swindon, who are currently looking for Production Operatives to support busy Manufacturing company.

Job Duties:

Warehouse operatives are responsible for mass production of a specific product in a manufacturing assembling materials or equipment, carrying out inspections and quality control.

Responsibility:

  • Assemble materials and equipment as required.
  • Putting sticky labels
  • Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
  • Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines
  • Transport raw materials from one place to another
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
  • Conduct inspections and quality control of products
  • Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Sharp attention to detail in favour of identifying defects
  • Self-driven and hard worker
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required
  • Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 20/25kg
  • Willingness to work as part of the team is essential. Full Training is provided.

As a part of selection process there will be some stages of getting the role

Successful candidate must:

  • Complete full online gap-personnel registration online which will involve wither video call for an interview or meeting in our Swindon office
  • Will be asked to complete math test
  • Will be asked to attend walkaround first
