Job Title: FLT Counterbalance Driver
Location: Tetbury
Salary: £14.12 ph
Hours: Monday to Friday, week one 6am - 2pm, Second week 2pm - 10pm
weekly rotational
Job Type: Full-Time Monday-Friday / Temporary to Permanent
Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced gloab food manufacturer?
The Role:
As an FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse and yard. You will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklift trucks to move, load, and unload stock safely
- Transporting goods within the warehouse and loading/unloading vehicles
- Conducting pre-use equipment checks and reporting any faults
- Using warehouse management systems to record stock movement
- Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and safely
- Always adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
Requirements:
- Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance required)
- Previous experience working as an FLT Driver in a warehouse environment
- Good spatial awareness and ability to work safely in a busy environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends if required
