Job description

Gap Personnel are currently recruitng for a warehouse supervisor to work with our client based in Willenhall. 

Details: 

  • Upto £29,000
  • Monday to Friday 1pm - 9pm 
  • Temporary to Permenant ongoing work 

The Role: 

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping goods. 
  • Supervise and lead a team, providing guidance, training and performance feedback to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and prioritize order fulfilment, addressing any issues or delays promptly. 
  • Working with the operations team to streamline processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse performance. 
  • Proactively keep updates about industry trends, best practices, and advancements in warehouse management to continuously improve operations. 
  • Good communication to line manager and office to keep all informed of all operation progresses. 
  • Monitor absence and holiday recording.
  • Sit down with staff members and conduct meeting notes. 
  • Liaise with HR and people business partners for advice on any HR issues.

  • Leads by example with strong modelling behaviours.
  • Excellent communication at all levels. 
  • Confident in conducting team briefs in full for all to understand. 
  • A proven track record of effective people managment with positive culture change across all levels. 
  • Strong focus on people and teams, recognition for the extra mile and ensures the right people are in the right roles, with development opportunities for succession planning. 
  • A self-motivator with the ability to motivate others by demonstrating a can do approach to problem solving and team building. 
  • Continually reviews the 'end to end' supply chain processes across the UK, seeking out improvements. 
  • Able to build up effective relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers. 
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team. 
  • Adaptable and flexible in his/her approach to work. 
  • Able to commuicate effectively between departments.
