Welder / Fabricator

We are currently recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join a growing and well-established manufacturing company based in Basildon. This is a permanent position offering excellent long-term opportunities in a well established business.

This role would suit someone early in their welding career who is looking to gain experience and upskill within a supportive workshop environment.

Location: Basildon

Pay: £16-18ph

Type: Permanent, full time

Hours: Mon – Fri 07.30-17.00 (Early finish most Friday 3pm)

You will be working with stainless steel to manufacture bespoke commercial kitchen equipment, carrying out welding and fabrication to a high standard.

Duties:

• Welding and fabricating stainless steel components
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Assisting with the fabrication of bespoke kitchen units and equipment
• Maintaining quality and safety standards in the workshop
• Supporting the wider fabrication team when required

Skills & Experience

• Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred
• Experience working with stainless steel desirable
• Press brake experience beneficial but not essential
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
