Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Caerphilly
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour - £15.26
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts:
Monday to Friday 6am - 2.30pm
Monday to Friday 1.30pm – 10pm
Sunday to Thursday 9.30pm – 6am
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established food manufacturing site in the Caerphilly area.
This is a hands-on and physically demanding role requiring a high level of fitness and stamina. You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting the movement and handling of food products to ensure production targets are met.
This opportunity offers long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods within the warehouse
- Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 25kg throughout the shift
- Preparing products for dispatch
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food manufacturing regulations
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider warehouse and production team as required
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg repeatedly during shifts
- Previous warehouse or food production experience (desirable but not essential)
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good awareness of health and safety practices
