Site Location: Newton Abbot
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Shift Pattern: Shifts booked on a rota basis, any 3-4 days, Monday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts between 6:00am and 8:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour

Due to continued business growth, gap personnel are recruiting for Food Production Operator – Days to join the team at Yeo Valley in Newton Abbot. These roles are available with immediate starts.

As a Food Production Operator - Days, you will be helping with the day-to-day running of the production line, making sure products are made safely, correctly, and on time.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Working on the line and helping with food production
• Packing products correctly and safely
• Checking that everything is running as it should
• Keeping your area clean and organised
• Letting the team know if there are any issues

What we are looking for:

• Able to work well in a team
• Good communication skills
• Happy to do manual work
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous food production experience is helpful, but not essential
• Candidates must be flexible and able to accept shifts that are requested the day before

Training and development:

Full training will be provided by Yeo Valley, with opportunities for ongoing support and development.
